Mario Prosperino, Co-founder / Licensing / Business Development
Mario Prosperino is the Co-founder of ESPAT, a premiere licensed and creative content company focused on esports and gaming. Mr. Prosperino is a son of a first generation immigrant family and credits his parents for his drive and entrepreneurial spirit.
Prosperino's journey started as one of the first employees at Allsport Photography (NY). It was here where he witnessed the fusion of photos, live coverage and editorial content consumption. Leveraging his newfound understanding of the content business, he joined Getty Images and followed by the Associated Press. For over 20+ years he forged partnerships with notable sports properties such as NASCAR and the National Football League and prominent brands such as Samsung, VISA, Target, General Mills, Pepsi, FedEx, Sprint, Reebok, Adidas, Under Armour and Nike.
As an avid supporter of the creative community, Mario has been instrumental in aligning ESPAT with some of the most renowned esports photographers, videographers and editors worldwide. Mario’s experience and vision will be instrumental in building the ESPAT licensing platform together with esports publishers, teams, leagues and tournament organizers, to provide the technological infrastructure to meet the increasing demand of content worldwide for the editorial and commercial user.
A graduate of Fordham University, Mario resides outside of New York City with his wife and three children and is a dedicated youth sports volunteer in his community.
Dante Simpson, Co-founder / Strategic Partnership
Dante Simpson is the Co-founder of ESPAT, a premiere licensed and creative content company focused on esports and gaming. Mr. Simpson's career in brand and business development and growth, brings valuable experience to ESPAT, particularly when evaluating and executing strategy, development and brand growth. He has an in-depth understanding of strategic governance and brand growth having served as a Senior Executive at domestic and international corporations.
Earlier in his career, Simpson was Sr. Vice President of North American Business Development for Sony BMG Music Entertainment, where he was responsible for monumental business development, growth and campaigning. During his tenure, Simpson developed the division’s strategies into a highly successful revenue-generating business.
While serving as Vice President of Business Design and Development for The Gucci Group, Mr. Simpson implemented one of the most successful multi-channel marketing campaigns in the high-fashion industry, under the leadership of Creative Director Tom Ford.
Simpson is known for his aggressive, results-focused orientation, as well as his close working relationships with members of the media, influencers, decision makers and celebrities. Simpson’s client experience has included Mercedes Benz, Nintendo, Sprite, Anheuser-Busch, WWE, New York Islanders and others. A Billboard magazine feature story on Simpson referred to him as "The living proof that success in the entertainment industry comes in varying forms”. Simpson has been recognized by TrueNYC.com as Entrepreneur-Of-The-Month, a member of The Network Journal’s 40 Under 40 and has made television appearances on Fox Sports, CNN, CBS and ESPN.
Mr. Simpson’s ability to multi-task with a concentrated level of success is evident as he currently serves on the Board of Directors for Multicultural Media Correspondents Association and several non-profit organizations while simultaneously overseeing the marketing strategies for many of the nation’s premiere brands, with a current portfolio in excess of $45 million.
Simpson earned his bachelor degree from The Ohio State University, and with his master’s degree with cum laude distinction from New York University, and has guest spoken for Sports & Entertainment Marketing and Sports/Entertainment courses. Currently Dante resides in New Jersey
Ed Brooks, Co-founder / Creative / Technology
Brooks’ career was initiated in Dublin, Ireland during the “Celtic Tiger”, Ireland's economic boom. Originally from Queens, NY, Ed jumped on a flight with only his backpack and graphic design school portfolio to make his mark. Upon arriving back home, he leveraged his international experience to serve as a print and digital content creator for brands like: AT&T, Pfizer, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Google, Bank of America, British Airways and Lufthansa.
While serving client-side for the NFL, Brooks formulated an ad agency-like studio within the NFL League Office on Park Ave. Throughout his tenure, Ed was instrumental in producing print, digital and broadcast content, as well as the distribution and monetization of NFL photos.
Today, Brooks is known for his overuse of the word integration, ability to conceptualize any digital platform, team building and hands-on executing any facet of a product-build. Throughout his career, Brooks sourced and licensed hundreds of photo and videos to be used for presentations and international advertorial campaigns. He is excited to share that knowledge with the esports community through ESPAT.
Upon witnessing the good and the bad of corporations, his mission is to do better—always do better. Ed is a passionate advocate for people, human rights, inner city and dyslexic youth. Ed resides in New York with his wife and son and is often mistaken for his identical twin brother.
